成軍於1983年的Bon Jovi，絕對是西洋搖滾樂迷必定聽過的搖滾團體。已擁有30餘年團史的Bon Jovi，雖然歷經過許多次團員單飛的分分合合，但依舊創造了不少耳熟能詳的經典金曲，如1986年的〈You Give Love A Bad Name〉、1987年的〈Livin’ On A Prayer〉、1988年的〈Bad Medicine〉，當然，還有樂團200年後的〈It’s My Life〉、〈Have A Nice Day〉，相信都是許多樂迷的必選曲。

這首〈Always〉原本預計作為1993年電影《流血的羅密歐》（Romeo is Bleeding》的原聲帶及同名歌曲，但由於電影慘淡的票房，於是Bon Jovi決定取消授權，而將《Always》收錄在他們1994年的精選輯《Cross Road》。〈Always〉作為Bon Jovi的冠軍單曲，在全美銷售了150萬張，更在全球打出超過三百萬張的銷售量。
