註1：這首《Between the bars》的歌詞乍看之下感覺是一首告白的情歌，但實際上如果參照Elliott Smith其他創作，就會知道這個虛擬的「愛人」，其實就是酒，他正不斷地借酒澆愁，而烈酒也這麼跟他說「把一切都交給我吧，我會讓你忘掉所有的痛苦」。
