註1：太陽報是英國發行量最大的報紙，政治傾向為保守的右派；英國國家廣播公司(BBC)類似國內的公視，為獨立運作的公共媒體，政治傾向為開放的左派。在這裡，主唱Maxi Jazz點出了傳媒的力量，無論政治傾向為何，媒體的本質是資訊、知識的傳播，所以傳遞錯誤訊息，甚至煽動民情、營造對立變成是可怕的大規模毀滅武器。

註2：在這段歌詞中，描述了一位離家父親。這位父親的「任務、職責」，有可能是軍人，正要去打一場「不屬於自己的戰爭」；也有可能是自殺炸彈客，要去執行「光榮的聖戰」。

註3：哈里伯頓(Halliburton Company)是美國的一家跨國公司，同時也是世界上最大的石油公司之一，主要的爭議有2003年伊拉克戰爭的內線交易、2010年墨西哥灣漏油事件。安隆(Enron Corporation)也是美國的跨國公司，曾是世界上最大的電力、天然氣公司之一，在2002年時由於龐大的財務造假導致上千億資產的安隆公司在幾周內就宣布破產。

註4：超脫、涅槃(Nirvana)是佛教用語，由於因果、業力輪迴，若人不能超脫一切、了解無常真相、斷盡種種生死煩惱，就無法跳脫出輪迴的循環中。在這段歌詞裡，主唱Maxi Jazz利用Nirvana的「Nir」音近「Near」，再造了一個「Far-vana」。意思是，無論是近的忽視或意識遠走的疏離，都無法解決自身的困境，最終還是要回到當下來面對自己的業、因果。

來自英國的三人電子團體Faithless是個有趣的組合。既有豐富內涵、社會省思的歌詞，同時也有節奏非常明快的beat。

無論是什麼毀滅武器，終究需要「使用者」按下殺戮的按鈕。而打造、使用這些器具的，不就是「人」自身嗎？無論是左派還是右派，錯誤資訊、意識形態造成的分化，不才是造成衝突的主因嗎？不論是什麼膚色，說到底我們都是人類，但歧視才會造成仇恨和分裂。所以什麼是大規模毀滅武器？是槍炮火箭嗎？是宗教、政治、疾病嗎？還是我們自身呢？
